The expedition of Vojvodina got reinforcements today, when they were joined by the president of Vojvodina FC, Dragoljub Zbiljić, the vice-president of the Club, Miroslav Tanjga, and the vice-president of the Football Association of Serbia, Branislav Nedimović.

  • Today we have to be a team, both on the pitch and outside. As a team, we have to show that we are top-notch, it is extremely hot, but I can see it in your eyes that you will leave your heart on the field’’, said Dragoljubić Zbiljić, the president of Vojvodina FC, who arrived to Cyprus to support his team in the first match of the second qualifying round for the Europa Conference League against APOEL.

 

Together with him also arrived Miroslav Tanjga, the vice-president of the Club, and the vice-president of the Football Association of Serbia, Branislav Nedimović.

  • We are facing big challenges, first the important game tonight, and then on Sunday the beginning of the Superleague championship and the match against the Red Star Belgrade. I am convinced that tonight we will achieve a positive result, and then at the rematch in Karađorđe stadium brimming with cheering audiences, pass into the next qualifying round. Tonight you represent Serbia and we believe in you’’, Zbiljić said during his address to the players.

 

The team from Novi Sad were also addressed by Branislav Nedimović, with the words that we are all together on the European stage and all five teams represent Serbia and have the support of the Football Association of Serbia.

  • I am convinced that you will not only eliminate APOEL from the competition, but that you can make it to the group stage.

The match between APOEL and Vojvodina is scheduled for 19:00h.
