The players of Vojvodina FC were defeated by Partizan at Karađorđe, with the score 0:2 in the second round of Mozzart Bet Superleague.
The teams performed in the following lineups:
Vojvodina: Carević, Lazarević, Jeličić, Crnomarković (from 71st Traore), Bukinac (from 52nd Miletić), Zukić, Milosavljević, Malbašić, Nikolić (from 78th Jovanović), Čumić (from 78th Radulović), Vukić (from 46th Bolingi).
Partizan: Jovanović, Stojković (from 64th Filipović), Ilić, Marković, Antić, Belić, Kanute (from 63rd Šćekić), Severina (from 83rd Trifunović), Natho (from 75th Pantić), Menig, Saldanja (from 82nd Nikolić).
Partizan was more direct in the opening minutes of the match, and the black-and-white team had their first chance when Severina sent a returning pass for Menig, whose kick was stopped by Carević.
Voša fought back in the 14th minute, through their captain Čumić who, in full swing towards the open space at the goal, was overthrown by Ilić who earned a yellow card, which definitely prevented a big chance for the home team. The guest team continued to play rough towards Čumić, because in the 19th minute Kanute had an aggressive start over Voša’s captain, and also earned a yellow card.
After that, Partizan attacked again, in the 24th minute when Severina lost the ball, but it reached Saldanja, who failed to threaten the net of Carević.
Voša had the most dangerous attack in the 26th minute, after a long action, Malbašić escaped on the right side, kicked the ball through the penalty, and Jovanović intervened. Voša’s offence was continued in 29th minute by Nikolić, whose shot was blocked by Ilić,
In the 33rd minute, Čumić was once again the target of the opponent’s players, this time Belić was rough, but unlike his co-players he passed without a yellow card.
Before the halftime, Severina shot once more. Carević was in position, while on the other side Bukinac tried once again, but there were no goals.
At the very beginning of the second half, in the 47th minute, Natho used the space to jeopardize Saldanja who escaped and mastered Carević for 0:1.
After the first goal, Voša once again took the initiative and had likely chances between 57th and 60th minute. First, after the corner Crnomarković headkicked the ball, and Malbašić was a few centimetres late on the other stand to kick the ball into the net. After that, Čumić shot twice, but failed to pose a serious threat to Jovanović.
Voša was in full swing, Partizan withdrew and waited for a chance from the counter-attack and got one in the 74th minute, Menig received the ball on the left side, brought it to the middle and from the stand mastered Carević for 0:2.
Radoslav Batak tried to awaken his team, Lazar Jovanović and Andrija Radulović entered the game, but there were no result changes.
In the next round of the competition, Voša will be the guest of Napredak from Kruševac on Sunday at 19:00h.
