The players of Vojvodina FC drew against the team of Jedinstvo from Ub with the result 1:1 in the 12th round of Mozzart Bet Superleague of Serbia.
The only scorer for Vojvodina FC was Marko Veličković in the 84th minute.
Teams performed in the following lineups:
Jedinstvo: Jovanović, Golubović, Damjanić, Aćimović, Doderović, Mitrović (from 61st Miladinović), Matić, Rakić, Jevtić, Perez (from 61st Stojanović), Denzel.
Vojvodina: Gočmanac, L. Nikolić (from 46th Butean), Korać, Crnomarković, Đorđević (from 66th Lukas Baros), Poletanović (from 46th Veličković), Petrović, Savićević (from 76th Medojević), Radulović (from 46th Depu), Sery, Bamidele.
In the first half Vojvodina had a few chances, and the first was by Radulović, whose kick in the first angle was blocked. After that, Sery tried several times to make space with solo breakthroughs, and in the 20th minute he shot from the distance directly into the goalkeeper.
The home team took the lead in the 28th minute, from their first and only shot in the first half. Jevtić received the ball after a mistake by Vojvodina in the center of the pitch, he tricked Crnomarković, and then shot into the lower right angle for 1:0.
That hit affected the play of Vojvodina, which dropped after Jedinstvo took the lead, so before the halftime Radulović had two more chances. First, he tried to overpower the goalkeeper in the 33rd minute, but he shot over the bar, and in the finish of the first half he shot from 15 meters right into the goalkeeper Jovanović.
The coach of Vojvodina FC, Nenad Lalatović decided to make a triple change already at halftime, and Butean, Veličković and Depu replaced Lazar Nikolić, Poletanović, and Radulović.
Depu had his first big chance in the continuation, he severed one bad returning pass towards the goalkeeper Jovanović, but he didn’t manage to shoot well, and his kick from the edge of the penalty area ended next to the goal post.
Even though Vojvodina was dominating and had a better ball possession, the guests hardly reached real chances, so Lalatović decided to make the fourth replacement. Lucas Barros entered instead of Đorđević in the 66th minute. The home team shot for the first time in the 68th minute, when Denzel shot from 20 meters next to the goal post.
Already in the 74th minute Voša finally performed one dangerous attack, Sery passed to Bamidele, which shot from some 15 meters next to the goal post.
The home team was close to their second goal five minutes later, Denzel shot from the angle, Aćimović tried a head kick in front of the net, but the ball ended in goal out.
In the 84th minute Vojvodina managed to take the lead, Crnomarković sent a long pass from the half of the pitch, and the defence of Jedinstvo reacted, but Veličković caught it and with a strong shot overpowered Jovanović for 1:1!
In the 88th minute Bamidele had a 100% chance, Depu passed to him, and he went to the goal alone, but shot next to the goal post. The home team had a counter attack a minute later, Denzel was once again in the spotlight, he shot the first angle from the right flank, but Gočmanac intervened excellently.
Until the finish, there were no result changes, so Vojvodina finished with a draw. In the next round, Vojvodina is welcoming the team of OFK Beograd on Saturday at 8 pm.
