Players of Vojvodina FC drew at Karađorđe stadium against the team of Partizan FC with the result 0:0 in the derby of the 22nd round of MozzartBet Super League of Serbia.

At the very beginning, legendary back of Vojvodina FC, Đorđe Vujkov, who is Vojvodina’s veteran with most derbies against Partizan, 22 matches in total. In that name, before the derby began, Vasa Pušibrk, a member of the first generation to win the championship, and the first honorary president of Vojvodina’s section of veterans, gave him a jersey with his name and number 2, which was his jersey number when he was playing for Voša.

Vojvodina: Vojvodina: Gočmanac, Butean, Korać, Sichenje, Lukas Baros, Medojević (from 7th  L. Nikolić), Petrović, U. Nikolić (from 85th Mladenović), Kokanović, Bamidele (from 90th Depu), Romanić.

Partizan: A. Jovanović, Filipović (from 64th Roganović), Ilić, Simić, Jurčević, Kovač, Šćekić, Kalulu, Vukotić (from 90th Goh), Zubairu (from 64th Natcho), Nikolić (from 74th Đ. Jovanović).

First half was marked by a huge fight in the center of the pitch, and the guests had their first chance in the 10th minute when Zubairu passed to Vukotić, and he shot from the edge of the penalty area, but was not precise.

In the 26th minute, Partizan had their best shot in the first half, Zubairu stole the ball from Sichenje, went alone in front of the goal, but Gočmanac defended the net masterfully.

Voša finally fought back in the 28th minute through Bamidele, who missed just a bit to bring his team closer to victory. He shot from some 18 meters, but Jovanović also excellently defended the net.

After a corner in the next attack, Sichenje tried with a head kick, but shot next to the goal post. Until halftime, Nikolić had another chance for Partizan, but Gočmanac was again in the right place.

Voša was the first to threaten in the second half, in the 51st minute when Romanić had a likable chance, he shot from some 13-14 meters, but Jovanović was secure.

Voša was more concrete in the continuation of the match, and in the 60th minute Lucas Barros was in a position to shoot, but he was blocked at the last moment by Filipović, who soon got injured and had to leave the pitch.

Bamidele had the best chance since the beginning of the game, in the 68th minute after a pass by Kokanović, he shot from the edge of the penalty area, but Jovanović recorded another defence. Voša continued to attack and once again Kokanović was in the spotlight. First in the 72nd minute he tried a head kick, and then in 77th from the left flank, and with a strong shot from the left side, but he was missing a little to score.

Partizan had their first big chance in the second half in the 89th minute, after an interruption from the right side, it was crowded in the penalty box, Jovanović shot, but Lucas Barros blocked him, which was the last chance at the match.

In the next round, on Saturday from 6 pm, Vojvodina is playing against Železničar Pančevo.
