When you decide to shoot the penalty in the finish of the match and it’s a draw, it is clear that you have courage and confidence. Andrija Radulović falls into this category. The young player of Vojvodina solved the match against OFK Beograd with a goal from 11 meters in the 87th minute.
Voša celebrated with 2:1 before 5000 fans at Karađorđe stadium, and Radulović is labelled as the hero of the match, given that he was the one who shot the penalty for the victory.
- I felt that because of all the things from the previous matches in this season, the luck has to be on our side tonight. We weren’t lucky in some situations, we spilled points, and finally the luck had to return to us. This city, our fans, all the people from the club deserve to see Voša back where it belongs, and that is the top of the Serbian football. The support from the fans is amazing, and it means a lot. I hope that in the future they will come in such large numbers like tonight – Radulović began.
The deciding moment was the penalty, where Andrija acted confidently, like he knew he would score.
- I had no doubts. When the referee pointed to the white dot, I asked Njegoš if I could shoot, because I felt confident and believed that I would score. It all ended like we wanted, and lile we believed, but this is only the beginning.
There is no resting. Vojvodina has the Cup match against Radnički from Sremska Mitrovica on Wednesday, and then for the weekend they are playing against the Red Star in Belgrade.
- There is no stopping after one victory, we have just begun, we need to enter into a series of good results. The duel against OFK Beograd can be the turn of the season, i.e. it will be. We want to win the Cup of Serbia, and that is why we take the match against Radnički very seriously, and after that we will talk about the Red Star – the message of the young player of Vojvodina is clear.
