The coach of Vojvodina FC, Ranko Popović, wants his team to continue in the same rhythm at the next game against Železničar.
The players of the old lady are expecting the team of Železničar on Sunday, in the 14th round of the Mozzart Bet Super league of Serbia.
– This match is as important as any, but it carries a special weight, because the opponent linked two wins in a row, they changed the head of staff, and the method of playing. With all due respect to them, we have to stay focused on ourselves and what we do. The team is growing from match to match. You can see the flow in the way they play, and recognize the details of our work. I would like us to be on the same level of focus as we were at the match against Novi Sad, where we didn’t stop thinking about the win for the whole 90 minutes. It is something we should strive towards – Popović said.
– Unfortunately, we have some injured players, that cannot be avoided. We definitely can’t count on Matheus and Campbell. This is the chance for someone new, like Miletić was in the previous game. He played well, but we had to replace him, not because he played bad, but because he didn’t have the strength, and was experiencing spasms. Each player matters, and each should be ready when they get their chance to play. The chance they get is not just the game, but each training session, and the reward for their work at the training sessions are matches. And those are stereotypes that we need to change, because each player should see each training session as the new opportunity to prove themselves, and be rewarded for that. I liked the atmosphere before and after the match, so it is my hope that we will continue in the same rhythm, because that’s a prerequisite for big things – Popović highlighted.
The coach of Voša answered a question about the difficult schedule that follows after the match with Železničar, when the rivals are chronologically – TSC, Partizan, and the Red Star.
- I don’t know what it says on your paper, but on mine, the most difficult opponent for now is Železničar, and as for the rest, I will talk about them when the time comes. The next rival is the most important one, and if we choose to ignore them, we will fall into a hole that will be difficult to escape. If we win against Železničar, and we will try, then we will enter well into everything that awaits us after that. That’s how I would like the players to think as well, step by step – Ranko Popović concluded.
The tickets for the match between Vojvodina and Železničar will be sold on matchday, at the ticket office of the stadium. Tickets for the west stand will be 800 RSD, and for the north 300 RSD. The east stand will FREE for all those who come wearing Voša’s labels.
