Today, Vojvodina FC held the official promotion of the third winter reinforcement, the midfielder Njegoš Petrović.
This 24-year-old midfielder arrived on a loan from the Spanish Granada, but Vojvodina has the right of repurchase, which will eventually be activated in the summer transfer window.
Petrović has been assigned jersey with number 18, and he also revealed what made him decide to return to Serbian football this winter.
- Honestly, the decisive reason was the wish of Vojvodina FC. This is the club that wanted me the most in this transfer window, and when someone wants you that much, then you can only accept the offer. It is my duty now to give back to Vojvodina FC in the best possible way during this half-season, and in the years to come – Petrović said.
He pointed that at this moment, the arrival to Vojvodina FC is probably one of the best decisions of his career so far.
- I can say that I am glad to be back in Serbia, especially in the club such as Vojvodina. It is good to be back from many aspects, and I can say that this is probably one of the best moves in my career – Petrović concluded.
He will be at immediate disposal to the coach Božidar Bandović, who will have the opportunity to train him during the second part of the preparations at Cyprus.
Aside from Petrović, Vojvodina was also reinforced by the goalkeeper Dragan Rosić, and the midfielder, Vukan Savićević, and they are also on the list of those traveling to Cyprus.
