Vojvodina FC informs the public that the Management board has named Miroslav Tanjga the new head of staff of the A team, at an extraordinary session.
At the same time, they terminated cooperation with the coach Lalatović by mutual consent, whom the club would like to thank for the effort and the energy, and wishes him plenty of success in his future career.
Miroslav Tanjga will take over the new function in the club with a clear vision and the goal to stabilize the team, and put them back on the winning track, so as to achieve the ambitions in the ongoing season, and those are the placement to some of the European competitions and the fight for the Cup trophy.

I am aware of the expectations of the sports public, and the club’s high ambitions, and I would like to contribute, through my work, so that Vojvodina starts playing a recognizable, modern football. I believe in these boys, and I am certain that together we can achieve good results. We will have the first training tomorrow, and we will work maximally on preparing ourselves for the upcoming challenge against Jedinstvo from Ub, whom we are facing on Sunday, at our Karađorđe. Victory is our imperative, but we will take it game by game, because that is the best way to return to the rhythm that we want – said the new head of staff.
Tanjga is a football name that commands respect in domestic and international circles. Already as a young player, he made his first football steps precisely in Vojvodina FC, where he built the foudations of his career, and in whose jersey he became the champion of ex-Yugoslavia.
He also wore the jersey of other important European clubs, and after his career as a player, he dedicated himself to working as a coach, and gained his experience by working in the top-notch football environments, including the Italian A series, and the engagement in the national team of Serbia, as the first asssitant to the national team selector.
