The coach of Vojvodina, Nenad Lalatović is pleased after his team won against Radnički 1923.

  • I congratulate the players on the game shown, because this is how you fight for Vojvdina, for our fans and everyone in the club, for president Zbiljić who enabled us to feel so safe. It was not easy before this match, because Radnički was four points ahead of us, and if we lost this, it would be 7 points, and simply that would be much harder to compete with later. What particularly pleases me is that when I arrived, the second-placed team was 9 points ahead of us, and now that difference is only 2 points. That means that we made a big step forward, and now we have two consecutive wins in the derby matches. That is thanks to my players and the president Zbiljić who made sure that we feel so safe, and in the comfort zone, and it was up to us to win today, and that is why I am particularly happy. Today is very special for me, because on this day my mother died, and today is her anniversary, and I want to dedicate this victory to her.

He is especially proud of his team because they were under a lot of pressure, and because he couldn’t count on four standard players.

  • Of course I am satisfied, because going against Radnički without 4 standard players was not easy at all. We were also under the pressure because the opponent was four points ahead of us, and in the case of defeat, the difference would be insurmountable. We deserved to win, and that is why I am especially happy, because we were efficient, and our desire to win prevailed. However, it was not easy to make a team without four standard players – Lalatović pinpointed.

In the end, Lalatović complimented Uroš Nikolić, and the unity that was present on the pitch today.

  • Uroš is a great player who has been injured for quite some time. I said that when you look at the names only, Vojvodina has the best team after the Red Star, but when we show character. Today the team showed character and how you fight for Vojvodina, and won the match, and I congratulate them once again on everything shown. It was not easy, the pressure was perhaps mostly on me, because when something doesn’t go well, then it is always the coach’s fault. If we lost today, I would be the one to blame.
