The players of Vojvodina FC secured placement to the finals of the Serbian Cup, after a goal by Seid Korać in the added time, and thereby defeated Radnički 1923 with the result 1:0!
The teams performed in the following lineups:
Radnički 1923: Leković, Ćosić, Mitrović, Simović, Dadić (from the 77th Pecelj), Ristić, Gluščević, Sahli (from the 60th Zorić), Aleksić, Đurić (from the 60th Bevis), Vidosavljević (from the 31st Ortiz).
Vojvodina: Carević, Lazarević, Korać, Crnomarković, Đorđević (from the 90th Matheus Indio), Petrović, Zukić (from the 78th Vukanović), Campbell (from the 68th Radulović), Savićević, Sery, Ivanović.
Vojvodina dominated from the very beginning, while Radnički mostly waited for the opportunity to attack from the counter attack and after long balls, but Đorđević and Crnomarković cleared a few potential dangerous to the net of Carević.
Voša was the first to threaten when Ivanović’s shot from 15 meters was blocked by the defence of the home team.
From the start of the match, Vojvodina was the closest to achieving a goal in the 24th minute, when Radnički 1923 was saved by the goalkeeper Leković, and then Ćosić. The guests performed a beautiful action, they circled around the penalty area, and then Lazarević sent a sharp center shot to the penalty box, Ivanović’s kick was blocked by Leković, and Sery received the returning ball, but his shot was stopped by Ćosić on the goal line.
Radnički 1923 fought back in the 29th minute, when Aleksić escaped the defence of Vojvodina after a deep pass, but Crnomarković caught up with him in the last moment, and in the continuation of the action Aleksić sent a returning pass, but the defence of Vojvodina intervened well once again.
Before the halftime, Voša played on the opponent’s half, and had one more solid chance by Zukić, whose head kick after Sery’s center shot was stopped by the well-placed Leković.
When you draw the line, Voša was a far better rival in the first 45 minutes, which is confirmed by the information that home team had zero shot to the goal of Lazar Carević.
Voša was the first to threaten at the start of the second half, already in the 47th minute Campbell escaped and found himself in a dangerous position to shoot, but he received the ball badly, and tried from some 22, 23 meters, and then in 49th minute Savićević tried to shoot, but the goalkeeper Leković was in the right place.
Then followed a somewhat calmer period during which Voša dominated, with no prominent chances, while Feđa Dudić decided to refresh the attack, and then Bevis entered the game in the 60th minute, while Božidar Bandović made the first change during the middle of the second half, when Radulović replaced Campbell, and 10 minutes later Vukanović replaced Zukić.
As the match was coming to a close, the teams didn’t really have energy for more serious attacks, but Voša was still the one dictating the tempo, and playing on the rival’s half, but Radnički defended themselves well.
However, in the last moments of the match, Korać achieved a goal worthy of the finals! Voša was attacking on the left side, Sery passed to Savićević, and he shot a perfect center shot to the penalty box where Korać headkicked the ball into the net for 0:1!
Voša retained the lead and placed themselves to the big finals where they will meet the winner of the duel between Red Star and Partizan.
