The coach of Vojvodina FC, Božidar Bandović is convinced that his team can repeat another good match, and achieve the third consecutive triumph this season.

After winning against Voždovac and IMT, Vojvodina is expecting the team of Novi Pazar, their direct rival in the fight for Europe.

  • After two very important victories, we are playing against the quality team that likes to dominate, and that is dangerous in the last third. Novi Pazar has fast and dangerous players, but I believe that we will repeat the same game and discipline, even more than in the previous two matches. We had four days to recover and analyze. As for the staff, the only one still out of form is Guram, due to his knee injury. We have our fans by our side, and it would mean a lot to us if we achieved that third win in a row, because it means a lot for our fight for the top. At every match we aim for the victory, and we can change tactical stuff in accordance with the opponent at each match. During the match, some things can change, but it doesn’t change our idea to attack, to play high and be aggressive, especially against Pazar that has dangerous individuals in the offence – Bandović highlighted.

Vojvodina has been waiting for three and a half years to achieve three consecutive victories, and that fact is an additional assignment for us, and a motivation, Božidar Bandović said.

  • It is a good fact, because victory is an even bigger imperative for us then. I believe that my boys can do it – Bandović pointed out.

He defended Matheus Indio who made a mistake that led to the goal received in the last match.

  • Matheus did make a mistake, but I don’t want the players to be pressured and afraid of mistakes, I want them to believe in their judgement. Not everything can be solved in just two months, we can’t read the game better and know whether something will change during the matches. I support Matheus because his intention was good. The most important thing is that we won the match, and that the players continue believing in their decisions. In my career, I always believed that it is more important how you end things, then how you start them – Bandović concluded.

The match between Vojvodina and Novi Pazar is scheduled for Saturday, March 16th at 8 pm at Karađorđe stadium in Novi Sad.
