The coach of Vojvodina FC, Božidar Bandović is pleased with the performance of his team, despite the defeat against Ararat.

The players of the old lady were defeated for the first time in Cyprus, since the Armenian team celebrated the result 2:1, after a turnaround.

  • I think we played a pretty good match, especially during the first half, we played with two different lineups. I can be satisfied with the attitude, even though there are things that we need to improve. In the first half we were tactically dominant, we had the possession of the ball and created chances, the boys played really well. I believe we are on the right path. There is no first and second lineup with me, we work the same with everyone, and we are counting on everyone – Bandović said.

He also reflected on the younger players who got a chance in the second half to show what they can do against a strong opponent.

  • We gave the chance to younger players because they have quality, and through work and patience they can improve a lot, and they represent the future of this club. The atmosphere is great, and we want it to stay that way. The training sessions are intense, because we want to progress at all levels, and we have enough time until February 10th, after which we need the results – Božidar Bandović concluded.

In the last control match in Cyprus, Vojvodina is meeting the team of Čukarički on Wednesday.
