The ex-offensive player of Eintracht from Frankfurt, Marko Mladenović, is a new member of Vojvodina FC!

He is a 19-year-old midfielder and he signed the contract with Vojvodina for four years. He was born in German Nurtingen, but has roots in Serbia, and has hence chosen to play for the national team of Serbia. Mladenović had 8 performances for the U-19 national team of Serbia, and scored two goals.

Mladenović had his debut in the jersey of Eintracht in Bundesliga, but he mostly played in U-19 Bundesliga, where he had an excellent achievement of 20 goals and 19 assists at 43 games.

Mladenović said that he was happy to arrive in such a big club like Vojvodina:

– Vojvodina is a great club, and Novi Sad is a big city, so I am very pleased to be here. I had positive conversations with the club, and I am ready for all the challenges and commitments that await me. I always gave my 100%, I was in Stutgart for 11 years, and then 2 more years in Eintracht where I had my debut for the A team. After talking with the sports director of Vojvodina, I realized that this is the best decision for me – Mladenović said.

He will be wearing jersey number 11 and will be immediately at the disposal of the head of staff.

– Physically I am totally ready, I had been working the entire time during the preparations, and I am ready to join the team. I will give my everything to make good things together with them, and to turn to the upcoming matches – Mladenović highlighted.

The sports director Marko Jovanović also expressed his content with Mladenović’s signing.

– We have been following Marko for a while now, we watched him play in the team of the Serbian selector Krivokapić, and we believe that he is the player we were missing, a faster midfielder like Mladenović. We watched his debut in Eintracht, and we could hardly find a player like him in our country. After long negotiations we finally managed to reach a deal – Jovanović revealed.

He underlined that Mladenović is a different time of player than Marko Veličković, so that given that he is a bonus player they won’t be competition to each other.

– They are different types of players, Veličković is the offensive midfielder, and Mladenović is a working bee, he never stops running, he has great motor skills, and he plays in both directions, and as time passes we are certain that he will become a true player – Jovanović pointed out.

Jovanović also announced more reinforcements before the end of the transfer window.

– We are close to signing with one attacker, we only have some paperwork left to finish between our two clubs. I think that he will join us tomorrow or the day after, since he has some obligations with his national team. Also, we are in negotiations with one additional offensive player, and I think that we will finish this transfer period with two more reinforcements – Jovanović said.

In the end, he confirmed that Nemanja Krtolica will remain the coach of the A team.

– We trust him completely, he has been in the club for a long time, and we believe that he deserves this chance. It is up to him to, with our help, attain all the goals – Jovanović concluded.
