The right back Lazar Nikolić is the seventh reinforcement of Vojvodina FC in the summer transfer period.
Nikolić (24) was born in Leskovac on August 1st 1999, and he signed a three-year contract with Vojvodina FC.
He arrives to Vojvodina as a free player, after a consensual termination of the contract with the Red Star.
Nikolić was a member of the youth categories of OFK Beograd, and then Partizan, which he left as a 19-year-old to play for the Italian Spal. After one season in Italy, he returned to Serbian football and played for the team of Javor Matis, where he spent three and a half seasons.
Nikolić was occasionally a player for the national team of Serbia in youth categories, and he had over 100 performances in Serbian Superleague and Cup.
Before Nikolić, Vojvodina was reinforced by – Mihai Butean, Marko Poletanović, Marko Veličković, Lucas Barros, Collins Sichenje, and Yusuf Bamidele.
