Ajax Football Club is the first rival of Vojvodina FC in the qualifications for the placement in the group stage of Europa League.

The link between Vojvodina FC and Ajax is definitely Dušan Tadić, who was the trainee of the Ilija Pantelić Youth Academy, and the later the player for the first team of Vojvodina FC, and then the legendary captain of the Ajax team. According to numerous parameters, Dušan Tadić was one of the best reinforcements in the history of Ajax FC, because he arrived to the club when it was going through a rough period, in the summer of 2018, and he led the team to 3 titles, 2 Cups, and 1 Dutch Super Cup. He was also the leader of the team that was only seconds away from the finals of the Champions League in 2019.
