Vojvodina Football Club is pleased to announce that the clause for the repurchase of the contract of Njegoš Petrović has been officially activated!
As the public already knows, Petrović arrived to Vojvodina as a player on a loan in the January transfer window, from the Spanish Granada, with the option of repurchase at the end of the season 2023/2024.
Good games, goals, and the leader role as a midfielder, as well as the mutual satisfaction about the continuation of cooperation, all affected the decision of Vojvodina FC to active the clause and repurchase Petrović from the Andalusian club, so now the 24-year-old players is officially the member of the Old Lady.
During the second half-season of 2023/2024 Petrović played 20 games, and scored 4 goals and 2 assists, and had a huge part on the road to the Serbian Cup finale, and the fourth position of the club in the Mozzart Bet Superleague of Serbia.
