The coach of Vojvodina, Ranko Popović is pleased after the triumph of his team over Radnik FC.
The footballers of the old lady won tonight over the team of Radnik, with the result of 3:0, and therefore achieved their fifth consecutive win in front of their fans.
- I would like to congratulate my colleague on his good work, because even though I don’t follow the statistics that much, I know that Radnik received the fewest goals in the championship, unlike our team who received plenty. To give one such team 3 goals in one half, shows that what we have been working on lately. My wish for tonight was to show everything we had been working on at training sessions, and I am glad that the fans could feel a piece of that atmosphere and game from the training sessions. Also, I am very glad for the reactions of the fans, because since I have been following and watching the games, I haven’t heard that the whole stadium cheered during halftime. That is what Voša needs, and the patch we need to take as a great club. We have to be at the top of our game, and that depends on us. The first half was like that, while in the second we couldn’t be so dangerous, which was understandable to a certain point. First, we have to pay attention to the periods of the match when we relax, because that is when we can get in trouble. My initial idea was for us to be responsible, but also to enjoy good football, and I am glad that we showed, and demonstrated that tonight – Popović said.
In the next round Vojvodina is the guest of Čukarički FC on Sunday, October 29th at 4:30pm.
