Ranko Popović, the coach of Vojvodina FC is pleased with his team’s play at the draw in Lučani.
The players of the old lady drew tonight against the team of Mladost, with the result of 2:2, and Popović believes that his team made mistakes which they need to correct in the near future.
– Tonight, we played with the desire to win once again, and to give an extra goal, but their goalkeeper was better than the rest in the opponent’s team, and that is what makes football interesting and gives it the lure. I am sorry that in some moments we entered an unnecessary race and stress in making some decisions. We have to continue to discipline ourselves and do what is our duty. Our goalkeeper was also excellent, and they had some chances. Still, I am under the impression that we made some mistakes, mostly because of the shape, because some players arrived later and had to play, but can’t physically rise up to our demands at the moment. We’re moving on, fighting to play better, for an extra goal and to enjoy – Ranko Popović said.
In the next round on Saturday, September 2nd, Vojvodina is welcoming the team of Radnički 1923, and that match is scheduled for 21:00h.
