Players of Vojvodina lost to the team of APOEL with the result 2:1 in the first match of the second qualifying round for the Europa Conference League.
The only scorer for Vojvodina FC was Dejan Zukić in the 56th minute.

Even though APOEL took initiative from the start of the match, Vojvodina had their first real chance already in the 7th minute, when after the counter ball, Vukčević gave the ball away to Čumić who escaped the players guarding him, but in 1:1 situation in front of the goal, the goalkeeper Belec was more successful.
APOEL threatened in the 16th minute for the first time, when Čebake escaped the defence of Vojvodina and from his left side shot the farther angle, but Carević was in position.
The home team continued to dictate the tempo of the game and to play on Vojvodina’s side of the pitch, and in the 24th minute Dvali stole the ball from Crnomarković and shot past the goal.
In the next attack APOEL took the lead, after a bad reaction and positioning of Vojvodina’s defence, Sušić passed the ball through the penalty, to Kvilitaja who easily scored for 1:0.
Already during the next attack APOEL had a new chance, Fetfacidis took a dangerous shot from 20 meters, but with an excellent intervention Carević saved the goal, so the result at the half-time stayed 1:0.
At the beginning of the second half, Voša had their best chance, when the alternate Vukić who replaced Vukčević, suddenly found himself alone before the opponent’s goalkeeper after a mistake in their defence, but shot poorly, so Belec was once again more successful.
APOEL was quick in their counter-attack, Sarfo shot to the far post, but Carević intervened once again. And then, in the 56th minute, Voša had a beautiful attack and scored for the draw. After the corner kick by Nikolić, the ball reached Traore, who passed it to Čumić, who found Zukić, and with his head Zukić just pushed it into the net for 1:1.
Right after this goal, Voša was saved by Carević once again. Sarfo had a new good chance, he shot from 15 meters, but the goalkeeper of the ’’old lady’’ had an excellent intervention.
However, in the 65th minute, after the corner kick from the left side, and a bad judgement of Carević who missed the ball in the air, Dvali scored for 2:1.
Voša tried to reach another draw, in the 72nd minute Čumić shot from the distance, but the goalkeeper Belec pushed it to the corner. Radulović missed the best chance for the draw in the 73rd minute, when he had an open path to the goal from the left side, but his kick was blocked by Dvali in the last moment.
All the way to the end, the result didn’t change. Voša has a goal less before the rematch that will be played in 7 days at Karađorđe stadium in Novi Sad.
