Until recently, Vojvodina player Veljko Simić became a new member of Cypriot Omonia.
Simić recently highlighted his contract with Vojvodina and he decided to leave Serbian football and accept an offer from Cyprus.
He will sign a two-year contract with the club from Nicosia with the possibility of extending the cooperation for another season, until the summer of 2026.
Simić came to Vojvodina in January 2021 from Red Star and made 99 appearances for the Old Lady with a performance of 23 goals and 10 assists.
The football club Vojvodina thanks its now former player for everything he provided in the red and white jersey and wishes him good luck and success in his future career.
