Vojvodina coach Radoslav Batak congratulated his players on a good game in the draw with Partizan.
The Old Lady drew today with Partizan with a score of 2-2, and Batak believes that his team could have achieved all three points, but that the draw was a fair result in the end.
– A dynamic and attractive game, attacking from both sides. Partizan had its chances, we had ours at the end, we hit the post and Čumić’s chance, and it seems to me that maybe our chances were more mature. Overall, I think the draw was a fair result. This was a good game, for our fans it remains a pity that we did not take all three points, but we cannot be dissatisfied – said Batak.
He also referred to the fact that Vojvodina played much better this season when they were not under pressure.
– It showed on paper that against small opponents we had a problem. Against Red Star, we conceded a goal in the last minute, and previously we were tied, just like on Banovo Brdo, just like now in the Serbian Cup. I won’t apostrophize the mistakes, but this season was what it was, in the end we pulled it off with some good games and some good streaks and that should be the way for Vojvodina to make a step higher in the next season – stressed Batak.
Finally, he praised the Milošević-Vukčević tandem.
– I said even before the game, this could be like the former tandem of Dwight York and Andy Cole from Manchester United, and that’s how it seemed to me, goal-scoring attractive – concluded Batak.
