The president of FK Vojvodina Dragoljub Zbiljić congratulated Čukarički on their placement in the finals of the Serbian Cup, and at the same time expressed his pride in being part of the white-red family.
– On behalf of FK Vojvodina, I want to congratulate our sports rivals, FK Čukarički, on reaching the finals of the Serbian Cup and on a successful season.
I would also like to publicly thank everyone for their sincere support for our club in the semi-final match of the Serbian Cup, the sympathizers and fans of Vojvodina, the official City of Novi Sad, as well as our sponsors.
Regardless of the fact that we did not achieve the desired goal and did not reach the final of the Cup, I would like to point out that I am proud to be the first man of our big half white half red family and that I am honored to have hosted at the game our famous former players Miloš Krasić, Miroslav Tanjga, Milan Lane Jovanović, Slaviša Jokanović, Mirko Poledica, Jovan Tanasijević, as well as guests from FC Bologna, Marko di Vaio and Emanuele Marcheti, whose support meant a lot to us.
The unity in the club that we have throughout the season, even after such a heavy defeat, gives us the right to continue fighting and believe in our dreams – said the first man of FK Vojvodina.
