Vojvodina will welcome Radnik in the 23rd round of the Mozzart Bet Super League of Serbia on Friday at 4 PM, and the coach Milan Rastavac has called on the fans to support the team as much as possible in the fight for important points.
In the first match of this spring, Vojvodina beat Kolubara 3-0 in front of their fans, and Rastavac wants to continue that streak against Radnik.
– I would like to start this conference by inviting our fans to come and support us and help us achieve another victory. We are a team that doesn’t take anything, but wins, and that means a fight in which we give our all and help from the stands means a lot to us. That’s why I invite our fans to come to the stadium and be with us and help us in this fight. As for that game, of course it won’t be easy for us. Radnik made certain changes, they strengthened, which is also shown by their points balance at the start of the second part of the season. We will have a rival who wants to surprise us and get points, and our task is to make that impossible. For that, it will be necessary to be aggressive enough offensively and defensively and to wear down the opponent enough and get into a situation to get three points – said Rastavac.
He knows that Radnik will have a great motive against Vojvodina, but he is sure that his team’s desire will be even greater.
– I believe that they will have a big motive, but again I don’t see a reason for it to be bigger than ours. We are the most important to ourselves and we have come to a situation where there is no more calculation and everything is in the moment and this one – Rastavac points out.
Voša will be almost complete against Radnik, since only Uroš Kabić is out.
– Everyone is healthy except for Uroš Kabić, who will be out of action for another seven days. Uroš Nikolić is back in the training process and will apply for the squad – Rastavac said.
Coach of Voša admitted that the draw in Lučani was a psychological blow, but that the best medicine will be another victory.
– Every game in which you feel that you deserved more and got less brings some psychological blow. We felt that blow and I believe we survived it, and the best medicine for that is three points – said Rastavac.
Last year, Radnik defeated Vojvodina in Novi Sad with a score of 1-0 and thus began a series of defeats for the Old Lady, but even that tradition does not burden Milan Rastavac.
– I am definitely not burdened by that tradition. I am a man who looks ahead and who seeks his goals and solutions in everything that comes. I think that at this moment we are a better team than Radnik and it is up to us to show it. There is no reason for the collective to be burdened by some negative results from the past – says Rastavac.
Finally, he added that one of the options is for Voša to play in a more offensive line-up than usual.
– We have the idea to be in a more offensive line-up for two reasons – to attack faster and more often and to waste the opponent much more and force them to make mistakes – concluded Rastavac.
Tickets for this match will be sold at prices of 400 (west) and 200 dinars (east). Tickets for the west will be sold at the main box office of the stadium (between the west and south stands), tickets for the east will be sold at the box office on the east stand (next to the Ognjište restaurant). The box office will be open on match day, one hour before the kick-off.
Entrance to the east will be free for everyone who comes wearing FK Vojvodina logo (shirt, shirt, scarf, etc.).
The match Vojvodina – Radnik is scheduled for Friday at 4 PM with a live broadcast on the Arena premium 1 channel.
