In the last championship match against Mladost, which was played at Karađorđe on Saturday, the football club Vojvodina organized a humanitarian action to help the family of its deceased fan Dragan Glavić, i.e. his wife Danijela, who is suffering from cancer, and sons Nikola, Filip and Aleksandar, so that it was decided that all income from the sale of tickets from this match, as well as voluntary contributions that the spectators could leave when entering the stadium, would be forwarded to them.
Before the start of today’s press conference at Karađorđe, organized on the occasion of the upcoming match between Radnik and Vojvodina, the captain of Old Lady Stefan Đorđević handed Danijela Glavić an additional amount of money collected by Voša’s players, so a total of 485,000 dinars was collected for this purpose.
Also, Danijela and her sons were also given jerseys and season tickets of FK Vojvodina, and she expressed her great gratitude to the football club Vojvodina and its fans for everything done, proudly noting that all of her family are true Vojvodina fans and that her sons are also members of the swimming club Vojvodina.
Vojvodina Football Club would like to thank once again all those who showed their humanity with voluntary contributions, as well as the media who, by announcing and reporting on this action, also helped to collect as much money as possible.
The campaign to collect aid is still ongoing, so everyone who is able to help is invited by making a payment to the account 160-5500100600758-61 (Danijela Glavić, bank Intesa).
