The coach of Vojvodina, Dragan Radojičić, wants his team to continue through the victories on the difficult away game against Voždovac.
Vojvodina has tied three victories in all competitions, Radojičic believes that the team has raised their self-confidence and that its players will go to triumph against Voždovac as well.
– We have maximum respect for our rival and for everything they show on their field with artificial grass, as hosts, and we really take our hats off to them all. Colleague Linta also announced an open game, which suits us as well. I can promise that we will enter into a relentless fight and that we will try in every way to evaporate the unpleasant host. We all know how difficult rival Voždovac is on their field, that is why we have prepared some tactical changes and I believe that I chose the right solutions for this match. The last victory additionally raised our self-confidence and that is why I expect an even better game from my team. There is no calculation, both we and they need points, so I expect an offensive game on both sides and I just hope that we will be the ones to score more, so let it be 2-3. Our goal remained the same, we want a place in Europe and that is why there is no relaxation in any game – said Radojičić.
He believes that the most important thing is for the team to grow and go from match to match, and that until the end in the fight for placement in Europe, Vojvodina depends exclusively on its results.
– The team is growing from match to match, and that shows that after two defeats, we tied three victories. I don’t deal much with that kind of statistics, but someone told me that Voša last tied three victories in July last year. It is important for me to have a competitive team, so we brought some guys who did not play much closer to the starting lineup, the competition is fierce, some will help more, some less, but it is important that we all look at the same goal and do our best. The most important thing is to know before each game which is the strongest team at that moment. We like three tied victories and now we don’t want to stop, we are going for a new one. We don’t want to watch other rivals and let someone bring us a place in Europe, now I don’t want to watch the results of the TSC, but to win as many matches as possible. I want us to depend only on ourselves and I want it to stay that way until the very end – says Radojičić.
Coach of Voša also answered the question about the draw for the semifinals of the Serbian Cup and the “already seen final between Red Star and Partizan”.
– They can announce such a final, but we are one obstacle to that. Both we and Novi Pazar are obstacles and we will not give up. That game is still far away, but if at this moment you want to know what I mean, then it is that we have a chance against Partizan and that we will try to play our game and that we will fight to the maximum. We know that Partizan has not lost at home for a long time, but we are not interested in that. I believe that we will all be arable on May 11 and that we will be even better by then. While I am here, we will not surrender against any rival, so it will be the same against Partizan – Radojičić concluded.
