Vojvodina has defeated Gorica with the result 2-0 (0-0) in the fourth preparatory match in Slovenia.
The scorers for Vojvodina were Veljko Simić in the 57th minute and Nebojša Bastajić in the 77th minute.
Gorica: Banić – Doka, Marjanović, Jovičić, Keita – Junior, Babec – Schroler, Mitrović, Lovrić – Brodić.
Vojvodina: Vukliš – Bjeković (from 59th Cucin), Kovačević (from 59th Jeličić), Stojsavljević, Devetak – Busnić (from 70th Maksimović), Miletić – Zukić (from 88th Vu. Bogdanović), Čović (from 70th Bastajić), V. Simić (from 59th Novevski) – Mrkaić (from 51st Kabić).
Voša was a better rival and it was felt in the game that coach Slavoljub Đorđević laid the dice during the previous three checks in Slovenia.
His team played tactically very organized and disciplined, so the rival was completely harmless for Vukliš’s goal in the first half.
Voša had the best chance in the 15th minute, Bjeković centered from the right flank, Simić shot with his head from around seven meters, but he shot straight at the goalkeeper Banić.
Gorica had only two attempts from a distance, through Lovrić, but his shots were quite inaccurate. The closest to scoring a goal was Schroler, at the end of the first half, when his shot from ten meters was blocked by Stojsavljević.
Vojvodina continued to patiently build its chances in the second half, and in the 57th minute, Devetak scored a goal, but it was justifiably annulled due to the offside position. However, two minutes later, everything was clear, after a nice action on the right side, Zukić threw Bjeković to the empty space, and he found Simić, who scored for the lead of the Old Lady – 1: 0.
Immediately after the goal, Slavoljub Đorđević made a triple change: Jeličić, Cucin and Novevski came in, instead of Kovačević, Bjeković and Simić, and a little earlier Kabić replaced Mrkaić, and in the 70th, the coach of the Old Lady added Maksimovic and Bastajic instead of Busnić and Čović.
After the lead, Vojvodina played even more organized in defense, Gorica was still far from the goal and the danger zone for the goal of Goran Vukliš, who had another intervention in the 75th minute when he stopped Lovrić.
Two minutes later, Vojvodina deservedly doubled the lead, after Cucin’s cross from the right flank, debutant Bastajić was in the right place and scored with his head for 2-0.
Kabić could have scored his new goal in the preparations at the end of the match, but he was stopped by Gorica defense.
Voša managed to keep the advantage until the end and said goodbye to the preparations in Slovenia with the victory.
