The coach of the A team of Vojvodina FC, Zoran Kuntić is optimistic before the game against OFK Beograd.
After the triumph over Jedinstvo Ub, players of the Old Lady are playing against the team of OFK Beograd on Sunday at 4:30 pm in Zaječar.
- As a newcomer in the Super League, OFK Beograd have shown some pretty nice results, they are currently above us on the scoreboard. They have a good blend of youth and experience, several players who played in our biggest clubs and had notable international careers, reinforced by the talented youth, and their results are not an accident. After a difficult victory against Jedinstvo, we got another week of work which we used well, so the players together with the staff, tried to implement some new ideas. With the arrival of the new staff we believe that we will psychologically raise the team, and establish a different system, so that we can overcome the hard period behind us together – Kuntić said.
Voša’s stopper, Đorđe Crnomarković agreed with him.
- The coach said it perfectly, I would only add that we are facing a demanding and difficult match. We all know how much those three points mean to us, and that we need to win as many points in these last three matches before the play-off. OFK Beograd have a young and good team, and we will try to show everything that we have been working on in the last two weeks, in the best possible way. We want to win, and we will go for those 3 points – Crnomarković highlighted.
He also underlined that for the new system and way of playing they need time, but that he was certain that the team would only get better.
- The coach has some beautiful ideas and thoughts, and we are trying to implement them on the pitch, but everything requires time. I am certain that already against OKF Beograd, and then from week to week, we will get better and better. We need to tend to our own garden, and win as many points as possible, because we are aware of the pressure. This team can do it, and we need to show that already on Sunday – Crnomarković highlighted.
In the end, Kuntić confirmed who Vojvodina can count on for this match.
- Ranđelović, Aleksa Vukanović who is in the last phase of his rehabilitation, and Lucas Barros who got injured during the match against Jedinstvo, as well as Matija Gočmanac, are all out of protocol. The rest are present and healthy. Whether Romanić will play, we will see. He is a great fighter, he is playing with an injured arm, there is a great desire to play, but whether he will is not up to me – Kuntić concluded.
The game between OFK Beograd and Vojvodina is scheduled for Sunday at 4:30 pm, with a live broadcast at RTV1 and Arena Sport 2.
