Players of Vojvodina FC won against the team of Radnički with the result 1:4 in the 25th round of Mozzart Bet Super League of Serbia.
Scorers for Voša were Petrović in the 45th, Romanić in the 61st from the penalty, and U. Nikolić in the 88th and 90th minute.
Teams performed in the following lineups:
Radnički: Manojlović, Stojanović, Pavlović, Yamkam, Jo (from 31st Petković), Tanko (from 79th Tjutjukov), Vojnović, Milosavljević, Ilić, Stewart, Yurukov (from 45th Etongu).
Vojvodina: Gočmanac, Sichenje (from 46th U. Nikolić), Korać, Crnomarković, L. Nikolić, Barros, Petrović, Medojević (from 70th Savićević), Kokanović, Sery (from 45th Bamidele), Romanić.
There were not many chances in the introductory minutes, nor excitement, and then Sichenje clumsily knocked down Ilić and caused a penalty. One seemingly harmless ball towards the penalty box, Gočmanac and Sichenje had a communication issue, Ilić used that to steal the ball, and Voša’s stopper kicked his leg. Then the referee got the call from the VAR room, and the main referee, after having looked at the recording, pointed to the white dot, and Vojnović scored for 1:0.
This was just an introduction to the line of situations that marked the first half. In the 23rd minute, the right back of Radnički, Jo, had a rough start with Sery, in the moment when he already had a yellow card, but the main referee didn’t give him the second card, and exclude him for the match.
However, Vojvodina continued to attack and create chances. The first good chance was by Medojević, he caught a half-volley, and shot just a little next to the goal post. Medojević then wasn’t very lucky, after a center shot through the penalty box, he shot from a sliding start, but the ball hit Kokanović on the goal line.
In the finish of the first half, Radnički remained with a player less, because Petković, who replaced Jo, had a rough start with Sery, and the referee gave him a direct red card. Unfortunately, Sery suffered an injury, and he was replaced by Bamidele in the finish of the first half.
In the added time, Vojvodina managed to draw, with a eurogoal by Njegoš Petrović from a free kick. Petrović placed the ball and from 30 meters shot the spot where the bar and the goal post meet, and scored for 1:1.
In the continuation of the game Voša began offensively, and in the 53rd minute they had a first big chance, Romanić passed to Bamidele, who shot from some 8 meters, but the defence of Radnički intervened in front of the goal. In the continuation of that same action, Bamidele tried with his head after a center shot from the right flank, but was imprecise. Two minutes later Kokanović had a new chance, but his kick from the right side was stopped by Manojlović.
In the 59th minute, the referee pointed to the white dot, since Pavlović pulled the shirt of Romanić in the penalty box. Romanić was precisely the one who took the responsibility, and shot strongly to the middle of the goal for 1:2!
After a shift by Voša, and the change of lead, Vojvodina started to control the game, they didn’t make many actions towards the goal of the rival, and in the middle of the second half, Lalatović freshened up the midfield, since he replaced Medojević with Savićević.
It was precisely Savićević in the 85th minute who was just a few centemeters away from a euro goal. He strongly shot from some 30 meters, the goalkeeper Manojlović caught the ball, which then hit the bar. In the continuation of the action, Bamidele missed a clear shot, Romanić passed to him selflessly, and Voša’s attacker was alone at some 10 meters from the goal, but he shot next to the goal post.
Already in the next attack, Voša had a new chance, again Romanić was the one who assisted, he connected Kokanović to the goal, but Voša’s midfielder hesitated and shot a bit mildly, so Manojlović saved the net once again.
What Bamidele and Kokanović failed to do, Uroš Nikolić succeeded in the 88th minute, and put an end to this match. After a nice combination from the corner and a pass by Njegoš Petrović, Nikolić positioned himself and from the edge of the penalty area shot the further upper angle for 1:3!
In the 90th minute Voša scored their fourth goal, Uroš Nikolić shot from the distance, the ball hit a player of Radnički on the way to the goal, changed direction and tricked Manojlović for 1:4.
The team of Nenad Lalatović saved the lead until the end, and recorded their first victory in the second half of the season, and in the next round on Sunday from 5 pm, Vojvodina is welcoming the team of Spartak from Subotica at Karađorđe stadium.
