The coach of Vojvodina FC, Nenad Lalatović, is optimistic before the derby with Partizan, and believes that with the help of fans his team can win.

Players of the Old Lady will welcome the team of Partizan on Saturday at 6:30 pm in the first match in 2025 at Karađorđe stadium, and Lalatović says that Partizan is a difficult rival.

  • When you play against Partizan, you all know that it will be a very difficult match. When they are vulnerable, they are at the same time the most dangerous team. It is a great club, with rich tradition, and they have an amazing team. We analyzed the match against Spartak well, and Partizan surprised me, because they played very well. When it was 0:0 they missed three 100% chances, later on they received those two goals, but continued to created chances later, they certainly had 5-6 which were harder to miss than to score. That shows that we have to be careful before this game. Even though Partizan is facing certain problems, they have great players. If we play like we had played in the first half in Kruševac, then we have nothing to hope for. If we play like we had played the second half, then we can hope for the good result. We are missing that one match against Rubin from the preparations in Turkey, which was cancelled due to a storm, so we are missing one match of this type. I cannot wait for this game, and I would like to invite our fans to come in large numbers, to support us and I expect a full stadium. I expect us to be local-patriots and to support Vojvodina in great numbers, because we are the hosts and we are playing at our stadium, our home. We need the support of fans. We want to play this match for them, for Novi Sad, and for our club’s president, Dragoljub Zbiljić, and we will give our maximum to make everyone happy and proud. Novi Sad deserves one big victory – Lalatović said.

He confirmed that the team is in excellent mood, and that he won’t be able to count on Crnomarković, Savićević and Veličković.

  • The atmosphere in the team is excellent, the boys trained very well this week, and they are ready to face all challenges. They are aware that Partizan is a big and unpleasant rival, and that they have players who are not there by chance. We appreciate them a lot, and respect them as rivals, but we are Vojvodina, and at our stadium we always have to go for the victory. We cannot count on Crnomarković due to the cards, Veličković and Savićević are unfortunately injured, and won’t be able to play. All the rest are available for the match. Lazar Romanić received a strong kick in Kruševac, which I myself heard sitting all the way up on the tribunes, and I was scared that his cheekbone broke. Luckily, he is well, his eye had been closed for a few days, but in the last two days he trained with the team and is in the competition for the team on Saturday – Lalatović concluded.

The stadium gates will open two hours before the match, and Vojvodina Football Club would like to invite all the fans to secure their tickets in time, and enter the stadium earlier, so as to avoid unnecessary crowds upon entry, as well as to cheer for their club in the spirit of sports and fair-play, by avoiding any kind of inappropriate behavior.

Also, we would like to highlight that on matchday, all three ticket offices will be open at the stadium, and everyone who comes wearing Voša’s labels can enter the east tribune for free.

The match between Vojvodina and Partizan is scheduled for Saturday at 6:30 pm, with a live broadcast at RTV1 and Arena Premium 1.
