The coach of Vojvodina FC, Nenad Lalatović, is optimistic before the match in Novi Pazar in the derby of the 17th round of Mozzart Bet Super League of Serbia.

Players of the Old Lady are facing the team of Novi Pazar, and Lalatović highlights that it will be a difficult match, even though it will be played on an empty stadium, without fans.

  • Novi Pazar is always an unpleasant rival; it is well-known how difficult it is to play games in Novi Pazar. I am sad that we will play before empty stands, because the most beautiful games there are when the stadium is full. We are impatiently expecting that match, because we need points, and as Vojvodina FC, this time we will play for 3 points. I have to compliment Novi Pazar, who have a great team, led by Adem Laljić, one of the best players in that position in the entire league. We shouldn’t forget that we lost to Novi Pazar in Novi Sad – 0:1, even then Ljajić was the best player on the pitch. I watched that game, and we simply have to play better than we played then. I believe in my players wholeheartedly – Lalatović said.

He repeated that he is hoping that his team will improve their realization, and regain confidence.

  • I would like us to improve efficacy, for the goal getters to start working because we didn’t win any points, and I honestly expected all 6 points. I want us to be hungrier, and that we desire to win more than the opponents desire not to lose. With this quality, only with the players’ great desire can we hope that we will return from Novi Pazar with three points. It won’t be easy, but I believe in my team, especially when there is a difficult schedule before us. We are playing in Novi Pazar on Friday, then on Wednesday we are playing against Grafičar in the Cup, then there is the derby with Čukarički, and TSC, and finally the match against Radnički 1923. Those are the matches where we have to show what we can do it, and the players need to believe in themselves, because then we can defeat anyone – Lalatović concluded.

The match between Novi Pazar and Vojvodina is scheduled for Friday at 2:30pm with a live broadcast on Arena Premium 1 and RTV 1.
