Players of Vojvodina FC defeated OFK Beograd with the result 2:1 at Karađorđe stadium in the 13th round of Mozzart Bet Superleague of Serbia.

Scorers for Vojvodina were Njegoš Petrović in the 19th and Andrija Radulović in the 87th minute from the penalty.

The teams performed in the following lineups:

OFK Beograd: Popović, Gobeljić, Đermanović, Momčilović, Vukičević, Annan (from the 89th Obasi), N.Mituljikić, Addo, Cvetković (from the 94th Marković), Knežević (from the 68th Obradović), Vlijter.

Vojvodina: Gočmanac, Butean, Korać, Crnomarković, Barros, Petrović, Medojević (from the 81st Depu), Kokanović (from the 70th Radulović), Savićević, Sery, Bamidele (from the 90th Poletanović).

Already after 30 seconds of the match, Vojvodina received a goal, because the defence was indecisive at the first goal post during a center shot, and the best player of the rivals, Vlajter, used that and overpowered Gočmanac. Thus, the team of Nenad Lalatović was forced to chase the result from the start, and to go for the score without calculations.

Very quickly Njegoš Petrović tested Popović at the goal of the team from Belgrade, but the kick was imprecise. In the 15th minute Vojvodina could have reached a draw after an attempt by Kokanović, however this time the goal post was the ally of OFK Beograd, whose players then started their counter-attack, but Seid Korać phenomenally stopped Mituljkić from creating a problem for Gočmanac. Being in the starting lineup meant a lot to Korać, which was shown by the gesture to the fans, who returned the support. That absolutely contributed to the rise of energy on the stands, and on the pitch itself, and very quickly it resulted in a goal. Caleb Sery passed in his characteristic way, this time through the middle, sent an excellent pass to Njegoš Petrović, whose finish was perfect to draw in the 19th minute. Only five minutes later, Crnomarković almost overturned the result after a corner. The ball ended just above the bar.

Once again Vojvodina was very close to scoring, but with a parade Popović stopped the celebration of Kokanović and the home players. Vojvodina had the initiative, but that didn’t bring the desired lead to the team of Nenad Lalatović.

We waited until the 58th minute for the next attempt at the match, when Kokanović with his right leg sent the ball next to the goal. After 64 minutes of the match, OFK Beograd was left with a player less, because Edmund Ado received a second yellow card, this time after a start over Medojević. Three minutes later, Voša had another favourable situation. This time, Bamidele was imprecise. That seemed to have been a hint of an even better chance when Petrović with an excellent shot almost scored a euro goal, but once again Popović was excellent.

Given that Vojvodina was stronger in numbers, the pressure towards the rival’s net was even more noticeable. In the 83rd minute Bamidele had a top chance after a centershot, but Popović’s reaction was again excellent. Only a few minutes later, after a check from the VAR room, the referee Pavle Ilić pointed to the white dot. Radulović was pulled by Annan, and it was precisely Radulović who took the responsibility for the penalty. The wing attacker scored for the upheaval, and the result 2:1, even though Popović guessed the right side.

That was the final result which brought Vojvodina 19 points in Mozzart Bet Super league of Serbia.
