The players of Vojvodina FC suffered their first loss in MozzartBet Superleague after they lost against the team of Čukarički with the result 3:1.
The only scorer for Vojvodina FC was achieved by Andrija Radulović in the 37th minute.
The teams performed in the following lineup:
Čukarički: Kaličanin, Docić, Stevanović, Tufegdžić (from 63rd Cioni), Ivanović (form 88th Rogan), Sissoko, Jovanović, Stanković, Cvetković, Kovač (from 88th Serafimović), Mello (from 77th Cvetković).
Vojvodina: Carević, L. Nikolić (from 65th Butean), Korać, Drobnjak (from 46th Crnomarković), Đorđević, Medojević, U. Nikolić (from 46th Sery), Veličković (from 46th Poletanović), Radulović, Sukačev (from 57th Bamidele), Ivanović.
Čukarički opened the match better and were more concrete in the introductory minutes, and the first chance was by Jovanović, who shot from the left side into the outer side of the net.
In the 19th minute, Čukarički managed to take the lead, Tufegdžić centered from the right flank, and Kovač escaped Korać and from the penalty area pushed the ball into the net for 1:0, and as it turned out the ball caught Korać and tricked Carević.
Vojvodina awoke and started playing after this goal, and within just 3 minutes, from 24th until 27th had a few dangerous chances.
First, Veličković ran into the returning pass by Sukačev, and hit the goal post. Then Sukačev shot from the near distance after a center shot from the right flank, but the goalkeeper Kaličanin stopped the shot. The same actors met a minute after, Sukačev shot from 20 meters, but the goalkeeper of Čukarički intervened, Medojević went on the returning ball, and fell in the duel with the guard, but the referee thought that there were not elements for the penalty.
Čukarički scored their second goal in the 30th minute, in the moments when it seemed that Vojvodina was closer to a draw. The home team performed a quick attack on the left flank, and Docić passed to the lonely Mello, who managed to escape the offside position, went over Carević and shot for 2:0.
Mello almost scored his second goal just three minutes later, when from the left side he shot next to the goal post.
In the 37th minute Vojvodina scored their deserved goal, and the scorer was Radulović. Uroš Nikolić pushed the ball through the middle, he attempted to pass to Ivanović, but after returning the ball reached Radulović, who shot from some 15 meters on the ground into the further angle for 2:1.
Yet, only 60 seconds later, Čukarički scored their next goal. Mello was assisting this time, he passed over Korać, Kovač managed to escape Korać and sent the ball into the net of the powerless Carević for 3:1.
At halftime, Bandović decided to make changes in the lineup, Crnomarković, Poletanović and Sery replaced Drobnjak, Veličković and Uroš Nikolić, and in the 57th minute Bamidele replaced Sukačev.
Voša took the initiative, but Čukarički defended themselves well, and didn’t let Vojvodina enter the danger zone. Voša managed to threaten a few times after the 67th minute. First, Bamidele tried from the right side, then Poletanović from 20 meters, but the goalkeeper Kaličanin blocked both shots. Then, Ivanović tried from a semi-volley, but was blocked.
In the 90th minute Sery finally managed to pass through the left flank, he went into the middle and then from some 18 meters shot next to the goal post.
On Thursday at 8:15pm Vojvodina is playing against Maribor in the first match of the third round of qualifications for the Conference League, and then on Sunday from 8pm they are welcoming the team of TSC at TSC Arena in the new derby of the fourth round of MozzartBet Superleague of Serbia.
