The coach of Vojvodina FC, Božidar Bandović is pleased with the performance of his team in the victory against Achyronas Onisilos in the second control match in Cyprus.
Today, the old lady won against the second-league team from Cyprus with the result 5:1, and Bandović spoke about the overall performance with a lot of praise.
- I think we played pretty well, maybe in the first half we should have been more decisive. Generally, I am please with the approach, discipline, and attitude toward the game. We work well, and it reflects on the pitch, because I believe that the way you train will be the way you play. The training sessions are very intense, maybe someone is tired, but that’s normal at this stage. I don’t like to single out players, Sukačev used his chance today, but the other young players also have quality. They should continue working and be patient – Bandović said.
Until the end of the preparations, Vojvodina will play two more matches, against Ararat and against Čukarički, and a third match is planned upon the return to Serbia.
– We have two more matches, and we plan to play another one on February 4th, upon our return to Serbia. We have yet to see how we will organize the remaining two games in Cyprus. Principally, the volume of the minutes will be approximately the same with all players, after which we will get a clearer picture of every player. We are mostly interested in keeping this same attitude and approach at training sessions, because that leads us to achieving our goals – Bandović highlighted.
Finally, he pointed out that the transfer period has still not ended for Vojvodina.
- At this moment we are looking into some players, and the club will notify you when there are some concrete moves. As the sports director Marko Jovanović said, we want to bring those players who can make a difference on the pitch, and outside of it, so that these younger players who train with them could learn a lot and go down that same road, and learn how to represent his great club – Bandović concluded.
