Vojvodina lost away from Voždovac with the result 2-1 in the 32nd round of the Serbian Super League.
Vojvodina took the lead with a goal by Simić from the penalty spot in the 30th minute, Ivezić equalized in the 32nd minute, and Mijailović turned it around in the 58th minute.
The teams performed in the following lineups:
Voždovac: Krunić, Milović, Lacickas, Mijailović, Pantović, Ajdinović, Milojević, Purtić, Ćirković, Ivezić, Hajdin.
Vojvodina: Rockov – Lazarević, Jeličić, Stevanović (from 83rd Mrkaić), Đorđević – Maksimović (from 67th Zukić), Busnić (from 83rd Kabić) – Vukadinović, Simić, Nešković (from 67th Novevski) – Vukčević (from 67th Matić).
Voždovac was the first to threaten through Milojević, who shot directly at Rockov from the edge of the penalty area. Then Ćirković had an even better attempt, when he shot over the crossbar from around 22 meters.
Voša threatened for the first time after the free kick, when Stevanović stayed on the second post and shot in the first corner, but Krunić was on the spot.
At the end of half an hour of the game, Voša took the lead. Simić cheated on his guard Mijailović, who knocked him down, and the referee pointed to the white dot. The responsibility was taken over by Simić, who shot in the middle of the goal for 0-1.
Voždovac managed to equalize after only two minutes, after the free kick and the worse reaction of the defense of Vojvodina. The ball fell right on the leg of Ivezić, who easily defeated Rockov for 1-1.
Before going on a break, Voždovac had another great chance. Ajdinović avoided the offside trap, received the ball in front of Rockov, but the goalkeeper Voše masterfully intervened and saved his net, so it remained 1-1 at halftime.
The home team also had the first two chances at the start of the second half, but the shots of Ćirković and Lasickas were easily stopped by Rockov. However, the goalkeeper of Voša could not do anything in the 58th minute when Nešković lightly let Mijailović receive one rejected ball and send it from 15 meters into the far corner to turn the score in the favor of Voždovac.
Voša soon retaliated, since in the 65th minute Vukadinović was separated by millimeters from the Euro goal. Offensive player of Voša shot strongly with his left foot from 35 meters into the upper left corner, but the goalpost saved the goalkeeper Krunić. Two minutes later, Nešković had another chance. He entered the dangerous zone of obliqueness from the left side and hit the outer part of the net.
After that, Dragan Radojičić made a triple change: Vukčević, Nešković and Maksimović came out, while Matić, Zukić and Novevski came in.
From that moment, the guests shifted their focus to half of the rival and went on the offensive, but Voždovac set up well and did not allow more chances in front of his goal. Due to that, Radojičić made two more offensive changes: in the 83rd minute, Kabić and Mrkaić came in instead of Stevanović and Busnić.
However, Voša did not manage to seriously threaten the goal of the home team until the end, so Voždovac won important points in the further fight for placement in Europe. Vojvodina is now seventh on the table with 42 points, but Voždovac, TSC and Radnički have 44 points each, so the race continues until the very end.
