In the 26th round of the Serbian Super League, Vojvodina will meet TSC at Karađorđe tomorrow. This match will be played on the 108th birthday of the Old Lady, and on that occasion, the club decided that the entrance to this match will be free.
For Voša, this match comes after two unexpected defeats by Radnik and Kolubara, whereby the red and whites ended both games, due to red cards, with a player less on the field. Regardless of the defeats, Voša is still on the fourth place on the table with 36 points, but now with 11 points behind the third-placed Čukarički, while the fifth-placed Radnički Niš has only three points less than the Old Lady. TSC is currently in the eighth place on the table with 31 points, and the team from Bačka Topola has still not given up the fight for a place in the qualifications for the Conference League.
This half-season, TSC plays in variable form. They opened the spring with a defeat by Mladost in Lučani, after which they beat Spartak at home, and then two consecutive draws followed – against Napredak in Kruševac and Radnik in Bačka Topola.
The two most prominent TSC players this season are striker Stefan Vukić and offensive midfielder Mihajlo Banjac, both of whom have scored six league goals so far. The jersey of this team is currently worn by some former players of Vojvodina, namely Aranđel Stojković and Petar Škuletić, while the members of the Youth Academy Ilija Pantelić were once Dejan Milićević, Jug Stanojev and goalkeeper Nemanja Jorgić. In the TSC team, we should mention some other players who have already established themselves on our Super League scene, including former Proleter central back Leandro Pinto, experienced central back Goran Antonić, captain Saša Tomanović, defensive midfielder Boubacari Doucouré, etc. The coach of TSC is the former Manager of Metalac, Žarko Lazetić, who wore the jersey of Vojvodina in one period of his career as a player.
The match on Sunday starts at 6:30 PM, with a TV broadcast on the Arena Sport 2 channel.
