The football players of Vojvodina have qualified for the Serbian Cup’s semifinals, and now they are facing matches in the championship against Radnik and Inđija. After that, there will be a two-week break in all national leagues worldwide, as the World Cup qualifiers will start.
As for the Vojvodina team, the invitation to the national team was again deserved by the staunch central back, 25-year-old Siniša Saničanin, who made his debut for the national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina when Dušan Bajević was the coach and is now on the list of the new Manager Ivaylo Petev. Bosnia and Herzegovina will play in the World Cup qualifiers on March 24 against Finland in Helsinki and on March 31 against France in Sarajevo. In the meantime, they will play a friendly match against Costa Rica on March 27 in Zenica. For the Bosnian national team, Siniša Saničanin has played eight games so far.
The young midfielder of Vojvodina, Dejan Zukić, is on the list of the Manager of the U-21 national team of Serbia, Ilija Stolica, for the friendly match on March 30 against Turkey in Alanya. In addition to him, the player of Vojvodina, Mihajlo Nešković, who is currently on loan in Inđija, also received an invitation for this national team gathering.
Football club Vojvodina also has internationals in our country’s younger selections, since Marko Luković, Veljko Jelenković, and Vladimir Miletić were invited to the U-18 national team of Serbia. In contrast, the coach of the U-16 national team of Serbia, Mirko Bunjevčević, for a friendly match against Romania that will be played on March 17 in Stara Pazova, also decided to invite the players of Vojvodina Milan Majstorović and Milan Kovačev.
