After that, Lazarević also attempted shooting from some 20 meters, but the goalkeeper of Novi Sad was in the right place.
In the 35th minute, Nikolić was once again in the center of attention. Zukić passed him the ball, but his shot was blocked. Soon, Nikolić almost entered a new chance, in the last minute in the penalty box, but Blagojević reacted in front of him.
Novi Sad had difficulties reaching the penalty area of Vojvodina, and in the first half of the game their only dangerous attempt was by Rac.
In the last moments of the first half, a shot by Crnomarković ended over the goal, so the result remained 0:0 at halftime.

Malbašić’s shot from the distance was stopped by the goalkeeper, then the goalkeeper of Novi Sad proved himself in a 1 on 1 situation, after saving the goal from the shot by Nikolić. After that, Vukanović followed with a shot from the edge of the penalty area, but the ball went over the goal.
The punishment almost followed at the end of 1 hour of the match, after a cross from the right side, Krstić was alone on the other goal post, he received the ball on his chest, but sent it over the goal.
Voša continued to attack, and had a new chance after another corner by Nikolić, Rosić head kicked almost over the goal stand.
