The autumn international football festival for children, called Novi Sad Trophy, will be held this weekend, more precisely from November 5 to 7 at FC Vujadin Boškov in Veternik. Boys born in 2010 will participate in this tournament, and they will play according to the 8 + 1 system, according to the rules of big football, with each half lasting 20 minutes.
A total of 12 teams from seven countries will take part in the tournament, as follows:
Group A: Vojvodina A, Vardar (Northern Macedonia), Budva (Montenegro)
Group B: Nizhny Novgorod A (Russia), Partizan, Old Airport (Northern Macedonia)
Group C: Osijek (Croatia), Šparta Sarajevo (Bosnia and Herzegovina), Nizhny Novgorod B (Russia)
Group D: Ferencvarosi TC (Hungary), Borac Banja Luka (Bosnia and Herzegovina), Vojvodina B
The tournament will be held according to the following schedule:
Friday:
10 AM – 3 PM: group stage matches (FC Vujadin Boškov)
4 pm: grand opening of the tournament (Spens Amphitheater)
5 pm: welcome cocktail (Spens Hall)
6 pm: tour of shopping mall Promenada
Saturday:
10 am -14 pm: playoff games (FC Vujadin Boškov)
Sunday:
9 am – 12:15 pm: final matches (FC Vujadin Boškov)
12:30 pm: Closing ceremony of the tournament and award ceremony
This tournament is organized as part of the cooperation between FK Vojvodina and the Russian city of Nizhny Novgorod, which the Vojvodina team under 11 visited last month and had the opportunity to stay in their training camp, and to play several friendly matches with their peers.
