Vojvodina failed to reach the finals of the Serbian Cup, as it lost today at its Karađorđe to Čukarički with a score of 0-1.

Čukarički: Popović, Rogan (from 68th Stevanović), Tošić, Docić, Tomović (from 75th Stojanović), Ivanović, Pankov, Sisoko, Badamosi (from 84th Aganspahić), Drezgić, Ovusu (from 66th Adžić).
Vojvodina had the initiative and several opportunities in the first half, but there were no goals.
Čukarički was the first to threaten, in the 13th minute through Ovusu, who shot over the goal from the edge of the penalty area, and soon Drezgić also had a chance after a corner kick, but his header was not dangerous for Nikola Simić.
Kabić had the first serious shot in the Vojvodina team at the end of the 27th minute, when he caught a rebound from the left side and shot over the goal. Vitas soon had an opportunity after a corner kick, but he did not manage to catch the ball with his head.
The coach of Vojvodina made the first offensive change at halftime, Milošević replaced Kabić and the home team was the first to threaten in the sequel. In the 47th minute, Uroš Nikolić shot from a free kick, but goalkeeper Popović was on the spot.
Just four minutes later, Vojvodina was left with a player less, as Uroš Vitas slipped Badamosi and brought him down diagonally on the left flank, and the referee judged that it was a foul for a second public warning and a red card.
Čukarički took the initiative with a player more on the field and had two connected shots, but from a distance and without much danger for Simić’s goal, who managed to stop Pankov’s shot, while Docić shot wide.
In the 66th minute, Voša retaliated, Nikolić tried again, again from a distance, but the ball missed the goal.
In the 71st minute, Čukarički took the lead, Tošić crossed from the left flank, and Luka Adžić escaped Antonijević and beat Simić with his head for 0-1.
At the end of the game, Vojvodina failed to seriously threaten the rival’s goal, and Čukarički could have scored a second goal in the last minute, first Stojanović hit the post from 25 meters, and then Nikola Simić in the continuation of the same action brilliantly stopped the attempts of Aganspahić and Adžić.
There was no change in the results until the end, Čukarički kept the minimum advantage for placement in the final of the Serbian Cup.
