The home team continued in the similar rhythm at the start of the second half, and Njegoš Petrović had a first shot from the distance, on the ground, into the goalkeeper Jug.

Then followed a period of great fight in the middle of the field, where Vojvodina played better pressing, and quickly took possession from the rival.

Then in the 89th minute Petrović tried to surprise the goalkeeper with a strong shot from 40 meters, the ball passed right next to the goal post, which was the 21st shot of the Old Lady towards the net of Maribor.

Only a minute later, Voša was the closest to the second goal, Lazar Nikolić stole the ball in the middle, went alone on the opponent’s goal, when he realized that Ivanović was in a better position to shoot, tried to pass to him, but in the last moment the defensive player of Maribor took the ball.

Until the end of the regular 90 minutes, Maribor had a chance through Bourle, whose shot from the edge of the penalty area was stopped by Carević, but there were no result changes, so they went in to the overtime.

Voša had the first chance in the overtime, Lazar Nikolić received a returning ball after a corner shot and with shot strongly into the upper left angle, but the ball passed a few centimeters next to the goal post.

The chances continued to row in front of the rival’s goal, and in the 103rd minute Veličković played a double pass with Ivanović, and then shot over the goal.

In the last attack of the first overtime, Sery caught one volley, straight into the goalkeeper Jug, and this was the 23rd chance of the Old Lady on the opponent’s goal.
