The first team players and U-19 team players of Vojvodina returned to Novi Sad after two weeks of preparations in Turkey.
The red and whites landed at the Nikola Tesla airport at 12:45 PM after a direct two-hour flight from Antalya to Belgrade, and just like when leaving for Turkey, they were on the plane together with the players from Čukarički and Radnik.
During the preparations, the first team players of the Old Lady played three friendly matches, in which they achieved two victories and one defeat. Voša was first defeated by the Russian Nizhny Novgorod (2-0), and then won against Polish Slask Wroclaw (2-0) and Ukrainian Metalist 1925 (3-2).
On the other hand, the U-19 team played four friendly matches in Turkey, but the fourth match against the U21 team of the Austrian Kapfenberger was interrupted due to bad weather in the 30th minute with the result 1-0 for Vojvodina. In the previous three games, Voša’s U-19 team achieved a victory and two draws, all against Russian teams. First, it played a draw (0-0) against the U21 team of Lokomotiv Moscow, then it defeated the U21 team of Krasnodar (2-1), and then played a draw against the senior team of Forte Taganrog (1-1).
For the first team of Vojvodina, the championship continues on Monday, February 14, when, starting at 3 pm, it will meet Napredak at Karađorđe, while the U-19 team will continue the competition in the Serbian Youth League on March 2, when it will meet Red Star at home.
