Before the start of the match, Milan Grujić, a member of the Veterans Association of Vojvodina FC, and a player of the team which were the vice-champions of Yugoslavia in 74/75, and the winners of the Central European Cup in 1977, handed our team captain Slobodan Medojević a special jersey with the number 100, as Medojević marked his 100th performance in the jersey of Vojvodina in the previous round.

The teams performed in the following lineups:

Voša started playing offensively since the start, and already in the 7th minute Petrović excellently passed to Đorđević on the other goal post, but he shot with his right leg next to the goal post.

However, Spartak fought back, and Babić had the first dangerous attempt, from a turn he shot right over the bar. Then, in the 27th minute the guest team were even closer to scoring, after a center shot on the right flank, Prijović was alone in the penalty box, he shot from the first, just a little next to the goal post.

Two minutes later, the goalkeeper of Spartak, Vulić, saved the net, after a center shot of Lazar Nikolić, Bilingi went onto the ball, which was going under the bar, but the goalkeeper pushed it to the corner.

Spartak had a new chance, in the 34th minute Tomović entered from the left flank, he fought for the position to shoot, but Gočmanac recorded an excellent intervention.

Already in the next attack on the other side, Lazar Nikolić was once again in the center of the attention, from the edge of the penalty area he shot into the further angle, the ball caught a player who was standing in the block, and ended in the corner. The next shot was by Sery, also from the edge of the penalty area, but the ball ended next to the goal once again.

In the 37th minute the guest team took the lead, Babić escaped the defence of Vojvodina FC after one long ball, reached it before Gočmanac did, and scored from 16 meters for 0:1.

Already at halftime, the coach of Vojvodina FC, Neanda Lalatović decided to bring in Yusuf Bamidele to replace Seid Korać, and announced an even bigger offence, but then followed a new shock. In the 48th minute, Mijić escaped through the middle into the penalty box, and after a returning ball easily shot for 0:2.

Voša started attacking as was expected, and Uroš Nikolić had a chance, he shot well from the distance, but the goalkeeper Vulić recorded another intervention.

In the 57th minute the team from Subotica scored their third goal. Kokanović lost the ball in the center of the pitch, and in the continuation of that action Medojević and Gočmanac had a  misunderstanding, he dropped the ball, and it reached the foot of Babić who easily shot for 0:3.

Nenad Lalatović didn’t have much choice but to try and shake up his team, he brought in Veličković and Sichenje instead of Medojević and Kokanović, but the guests were excellent today in all segments of the game.

The only nice news today was the return of Jonathan Bolingi, who enter the game in the 75th minute to replace Petrović, and those were his first minutes after a year and a half.

Five minutes later, Voša managed to lessen the goal difference, Veličković assisted Romanić, who shot precisely under the bar for 1:3.

In the next round, Vojvodina is welcoming Jedinstvo Ub, and that match is scheduled for Sunday at 5 pm.
