Vojvodina has lost an away match against Rad with the result 2-0 (0-0) in the 30th round of the Serbian Super League.
Andrija Kaluđerović was the double scorer for Rad in the 48th and 52nd minute.
Coaches Milan Milanović and Nenad Lalatović decided to take the following lineups on the pitch:
Rad: Kahriman – Stanisavljević, Kaluđerović (from 89th Tučević), Ciger, Gojković (from 70th Jovanović), Lazarević, Šarić (from 62nd Busnić), Blažić, Radivojević, Karaklajić (from 62nd Mladenović), Trninić.
Vojvodina: Vukliš – Andrić, Bralić, Saničanin, Devetak – Drinčić, Maksimović (from 55th Stojković) – Zukić (from 64th Kabić), Simić, Gemović (from 68th Novevski) – Mrkaić.
Due to the extremely difficult and wet pitch, it was difficult for the players to control the ball and play more fluently, which also affected the number of opportunities. Veljko Simić had the first in the sixth minute when he shot over the goal from 18 meters. Simić was in the best mood in the opening minutes, as with a good dribble he forced the first yellow card for the home team, which Blažić received, and then he shot once more, very close to the goal. The home team tried to endanger Vukliš for the first time in the 11th minute, when Gojković badly caught the volley from the edge of the penalty area and sent the ball near the goal.
A period without trying to score followed, Vojvodina dominated, controlled the game in the middle of the pitch, but a better final pass was missing, so in the 25th minute, captain Nikola Drinčić decided to try his shot from twenty meters, but the ball ended up next to the goalpost. The most dangerous shot was made by Saničanin from thirty meters, at the end of half an hour of the game, when Kahriman only managed to punch the ball into the corner.
Vojvodina had another good opportunity before the break, after a corner from the right, Andrić shot with his head for a little near the goal, while Rad managed to get rid of the pressure at the end of the first half, but not to seriously endanger Vukliš’s goal.
At the very start of the second half, Dejan Zukić clumsily intervened in the penalty area and knocked down Rad player, and the referee pointed to the penalty spot. A reliable executor of the most severe punishment was Andrija Kaluđerović, for the lead of Rad – 1-0. The Old Lady soon answered, since after the action in the 49th minute, Simić centered from the right flank, and Gemović shot next to the goal.
In the 52nd minute, the home team doubled the lead after a nice action. Lazarević centered from the right flank, Kaluđerović was in the right place again, and easily scored from the penalty spot for 2-0.
Nenad Lalatović made the first substitution after the second goal of the home team, when Maksimović was replaced by Aranđel Stojković. Five minutes later, a suspicious situation occurred in the penalty area of Rad. Veljko Simić was knocked down, the players and the bench of Vojvodina asked for a penalty, but the head referee just waved his hand away. Veljko Simić was booked for kicking the ball away after the whistle.
Vojvodina coach Lalatović decided to make two more changes: Kabić and Novevski replaced Zukić and Gemović on the wing positions, but the Old Lady still had a hard time breaking through the well-placed defense of Rad. Andrić had the next opportunity for the away team after the corner kick, but Kahriman was on the spot. In the last minutes, Simić shot from 16 meters, Kahriman was already defeated, but Ciger prevented a goal by Vojvodina from the goal line.
There was no major excitement until the end of the game, so Vojvodina is now fourth with this defeat with a point less than Čukarički. The next rival of the Old Lady is Zlatibor, and that match is on the schedule on Monday at 6 pm at the Karađorđe stadium.
