Guest team had their first more serious action in the 19th minute, when Elsnik passed to Maksimović on the right flank, he entered the danger zone and shot through the penalty box, but the defence of Vojvodina intervened well.
Already in the following attack, Vojvodina took the lead with a euro goal by Njegoš Petrović, Romanić performed a pressing and stole the ball from Kanga, and then Petrović received it and from 20 meters sent it under the bar for 1:0!
The guests then took the initiative, they played at Vojvodina’s half, but the home team defended themselves excellently and organized, so practically it was only in the 31st minute that Milson had a first more concrete shot towards the goal of Rosić.
Voša played smart and aggressively, and this led them to their second goal. Bamidele passed excellently on the left flank, he left Krunić and Seol behind him, and shot into the further angle, Glazer defended the ball, but Romanić received the returning ball and from the penalty box he shot for 2:0!
Until the halftime, Red Star managed to lessen the goal difference. In the 40th minute Kanga sent a long ball from the middle of the pitch, Katai received it on his chest and then from the first attempt scored for 2:1.
Still, unlike in the first half, Voša started badly in the second, since the guest team scored 2 fast goals, and then Vojvodina was left with a player less because Crnomarković received the red card.
In the 49th minute, Katai went into the middle from the right side, and then sent the ball into the further angle for 2:2. Two minutes later, Seol scored in a similar way, also from the right flank, he entered into the middle and shot the further angle of the powerless Rosić for 2:3.
Already in the 57th minute, Voša was left with a player less, Crnmarković was late, and as the last defensive player he knocked down Ndiaye, and the referee pointed to a direct red card.
Miroslav Tanjga was forced to make changes, so Mladenović and Butean replaced Romanić and Uroš Nikolić. Still, with a player less, Voša managed to return to the match and draw. In the 69th minute Petrović performed an interruption, and after crowding in the penalty area, Bamidele was in the right position and scored for 3:3!
In the 73rd minute Voša had a big chance to turn around the result, Bamidele again did most of the work, he passed on the left flank and sent it to the second goal post, but Mladenović shot from a sliding start over the bar.
The punishment followed only 4 minutes later when Katai passed to Cherif, and he shot under the bar for 3:4.
In the 82nd minute, Red Star scored their fifth goal, Radonjić shot from some 20 meters, Katai managed to trick Rosić with his movements and desire, and Rosić failed to react, so Katai scored for 3:5.
Until the end there were no result changes, so Red Star recorded a victory, and Voša is facing a hard fight for the placement in Europe and the semi-finals of the Serbian Cup.
