Today, Vojvodina and Kabel Football Clubs signed a new cooperation agreement, with the mutual goal to offer the players from the Youth Academy ’’Ilija Pantelić’’ the right place for their future professional development.

Last summer, Vojvodina and Kabel signed an agreement on business and technical cooperation that has been extended today, to mutual satisfaction. The sporting director of Vojvodina FC, Marko Jovanović, was the first to address the participants of the conference. He highlighted the importance of this cooperation for the future:

  • It is my pleasure to continue the cooperation with Kabel, it means a lot to us, and is especially important for our Youth Academy and the development of our young players. As you already know, this cooperation began last summer, and already after the first season, it proved to be very successful, because many players got their chance and used it in the right way. In the first place, I would single out the goalkeeper, Toroman, who earned his chance in Vojvodina due to his amazing interventions and matches in Kabel. He is still with us today, along with Lazar Carević, and will definitely get a chance to play this season. Aside from him, many other players had their chance: Kokanović, Drobnjak Popović and many others. We are thankful to Kabel for helping us develop talented youth – Jovanović stated.

 

Milorad Grbić, sporting director of Kabel, pointed out that he was honoured by the trust he received from Vojvodina FC, led by the president of the club, Dragoljub Zbiljić.

 

  • We are happy to have signed the agreement with one of the best clubs in this region, that one a double championship title and gave our representation a plethora of top-notch players and coaches. On this day, Vojvodina can pride on having a captain and a vice captain of the Serbian representation. Kabel FC is honoured and grateful to be a part of Vojvodina, and we will give our best to be an important bolt in this club’s machinery. Dragoljub Zbiljić, the president of Vojvodina, has shown that he believes in us, and now it is our job to justify his trust. Please don’t doubt us, we are sure we are headed the right way, and we want Vojvodina to see us as a reliable business partner – stated Milorad Grbić, the sporting director of Kabel.
