Milan Vidakov, the top scorer of the First League of Serbia from last season, made his debut for the first team of Vojvodina yesterday.
Coincidentally, it happened in a match against the team in which he played brilliantly last season, which recommended him to return to the ranks of the Old Lady.
– I am really happy that I got the opportunity to make my debut in front of our fans and a full stadium. The 4-0 victory and the debut made yesterday really a beautiful day for me, which I will remember all my life – says Vidakov.
Apart from the debut, he is also satisfied with the convincing victory of his team.
– We played a good game and we are playing better and better, and I am also happy that we have improved the realization of chances that we create. I hope we will continue like this and beat Spartak in the next round – says Vidakov.
He called on the fans to come in even greater numbers to the upcoming Vojvodina derby, stressing that full stands give a completely different dimension to the entire game.
– The atmosphere is excellent and we feel the positive energy of the fans. They really mean a lot to us and they are our 12th player. I expect them to come in even greater numbers on Sunday against Spartak – Vidakov said.
The match between Vojvodina and Spartak will be played on Sunday at Karađorđe, starting at 9 PM.
