The President of the Provincial Government, Igor Mirović, received the veterans of FK Vojvodina and with them evoked memories of the events that left a great mark in the history of Serbian and Yugoslav football.
– It is my pleasure to host football aces, FK Vojvodina veterans Vasa Pušibrk, Lajoš Kokai and Miladin Purać. We evoked memories of events and matches that left the biggest mark in the history of Serbian and Yugoslav football. We also talked about the upcoming Stevan Nešticki memorial tournament, in memory of the tragically deceased football player. The tournament is the most famous football competition for younger categories in our country and the Provincial Government will continue to sponsor this event. We want to repay the generations of football players who grew up on the fields throughout Vojvodina, and to the new generations, young talents, to provide the most modern conditions for playing sports. That is why the provincial government will continue with investments in sports infrastructure – said Mirović.
