The player of Vojvodina, 27-year-old Veljko Simić, is chosen as the best player of the Old Lady this season, in the traditional selection of fans on the site fkvojvodina.com.

He absolutely and logically deserved this flattering recognition, considering that this season he was both the best scorer and the best assistant of the red and whites, scoring 12 goals and recording five assists in 41 games in all competitions (championship, Cup, Europe).

In the selection for the best player, his closest companions were now former captain Nemanja Čović, then the young Uroš Kabić, while on the list of scorers he was followed by Miljan Vukadinović and Nemanja Čović with seven goals each, Dejan Zukić with six, etc. On the list of assistants, Veljko Simić is followed by Milan Lazarević and Mladen Devetak with four assists each this season, then Vladan Novevski and Stefan Đorđević with three each, etc.

– The selection for the best player of Vojvodina last season is something that definitely means a lot to me. It is always nice to get one such recognition, especially when it comes from the fans, because then it has even more weight. On this occasion, I would like to thank everyone and say that, next season, Vojvodina will certainly be in a much better position than this season, and that they will have reason to be pleased – said Veljko Simić.
