The FK Vojvodina delegation visited the Church of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul in Arad.
This church was built in 1702 and today it is the oldest building in Arad. This temple is the endowment of the Tekelija family, whose most famous descendant is Sava Tekelija, the first doctor of legal sciences among the Serbs and a famous benefactor of Matica Srpska.
On this occasion, the delegation of our club laid wreaths in memory of those who died in the camp for the civilian Serbian population, which was located in the Arad Fortress during the First World War.
More than 4,317 people from Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Kingdom of Serbia and present-day Vojvodina perished in this camp.
