The coach of Vojvodina FC, Miroslav Tanjga is pleased after the victory against the team of Mladost Lučani.
Players of the Old Lady won against the team of Mladost with the result 1:3 and thereby ended the regular part of the championship in the fifth place on the scoreboard.
- I have to admit that before the match itself we expected Mladost to be more relaxed, because they had already secured placement into the play-off. We thought about that and based our game accordingly, and we entered the match as if we were playing the finale, like we were. In the first half we played excellently and scored two goals, but then followed an inexplainable fall in the second half, just like against the Red Star in Novi Sad. We again received a goal after an individual mistake, and once again it was our own fault for being in that situation. I am pleased with the result, we are moving on, and I hope that the period of good game from the first half will continue throughout the match. The first half was decisive, because 0:2 is a big result. We had some good moments later as well, simply, we had a bigger motif before this game. All in all I am satisfied, and I wish the team of Mladost all the best in the continuation of the season – Tanjga said.
